Once there was a little Bavarian village in the middle of a forest, south of Freising, the district capital and former medieval monastery. The last citizen left Oberberghausen in 1880 and the chapel and cemetery was left alone and for the nature. Today the chapel is taken care of by the catholic church, but natural forces more and more prevail on the cemetery.
Oberberghausen is one of the few “lost places” in my area – a natural subject for a photographer.
